St. Anton in the Austrian Alps is best known for its high-quality off-piste skiing, good snow and as a hometown of Johann Schneider, a father of modern skiing.




The village of St. Anton is located in the state of Tyrol in the Austrian Alps. The nearest city being Innsbruck with both air and rail connections. Famous for its freeride possibilities with good snow and steep slopes, it has kept its popularity among powder lovers and has been ranked in top 5 of Alpine skiing centers many times and in top 10 best skiing centers of the world.

St Anton offers 305 km of maintained slopes and another 200 km of off-piste routes. It suits more advanced skiers because of its profile but also has some easier slopes close to the village for beginners. Because of its location, it has a secure snow situation during the whole season.


The village is a traditional Tyrolean village with many restaurants and shops.It also offers many activities other than skiing if you feel like you need a day off. St Anton is also known for its wild apres ski so be sure to check the bars Krazy Kanguruh and Moosewirt.
